Securus Technologies - Inmate Phone Service Review from Murfreesboro, Tennessee
Stole my money!!! Set up video visit with my father, about 2min in we got kicked off the video page and never could get connected again.
I called the jail in which he is incarcerated they could do nothing. So i called securus to customer service. After 28 mins on hold talked to actual person, who was less help than the recording asking me to hold for next avaliable csr. I ask about a refund or credit for a video that actually works.
Was told I have to fill out credit request form on thier already hard to navigate website, the other option is to let securus mail me hard hsrd copy then i would have to provide the return postage or fax to them. I dont have a fax machine! So basically i paid 15 dollars for 2 min visit.
There are no other ways to visit or call without going through this company which seems like they havd a monopoly on telephone and video services in prisons and jails throughout the country. VERY UNSATISFIED and ,eft wondering why there are no other options to contact our loved ones.
