I'm very pleased to report that Saxton 4x4 have now responded to my complaint and all the issues with my car will be resolved in the very near future. The cost of the air conditioning repair is being covered by the RAC warranty, which certainly isn't worthless, as had been previously stated.

I also accept that some of the complaints in my review were over exaggerated, for which I sincerely apologise.

Not that this an excuse, but I really had come to the end of my tether trying to get these issues with the car sorted out.

I would actually highly recommend Saxton 4x4 and full intend to buy from them again in the future.

I must add that their showroom is absolutely amazing and is by far the most impressive I've had the pleasure of visiting.

I also wanted to give a special mention to Mr J. Healy, who has been such a pleasure to do business and has been instrumental in getting the issues with my car resolved.

Quite simply, the worst experience I've ever had in purchasing a car and the non-existent aftersales experience. Took my deposit quickly enough, but failed to answer numerous questions I asked, before taking possession of the vehicle.

They completely mislead me over the car's service history and the air-conditioning has never worked despite being re-gassed on at least two occasions. The RAC warranty is not worth the paper its written on, as it covers absolutely nothing and I'm so glad I didn't take-up the option of the 4-year extended warranty for ยฃ2k, which they tried to slip into the purchase price and thought I wouldn't notice. The Range Rover I purchased from them was my dream car, which has very quickly turned into a complete nightmare. Additionally, I've had to spend thousands of pounds getting the car to a reasonable standard, in preparation for starting my own chauffeuring business.

This has included spending ยฃ1300 getting the numerous areas of rust sorted-out, which were conveniently hidden from view until after I'd paid for it.

I tried contacting the Managing Director with my complaints, but he did absolutely nothing to assist and just passed it onto one of the business managers to deal with. Please feel free to email me (davewinsley@***.com) if you need any further information and my best advice is NOT to go anywhere near their showroom, as underneath the faรงade, they are just a bunch of crooks, who do not give a toss once you've paid.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $5000.

Preferred solution: Refund of the ยฃ5k+ I've had to spend on the car and the fact that they've mislead me about the service history, which means the car is not worth anywhere near what I paid for it..

Saxton 4x4 Cons: Do not return calls, Dreadful customer service, Being ripped off, Do not respond to web enquiries, Directors attitude.
