I've been dealing with RR for many years. I've met a few of the guys and speak to them on the phone frequently to get and give advice. I've been a collector for 40 years and am frequently asked to do radio and TV interviews because of my expertise.

I have nothing but praise for the guys at RR. I've never been cut short during a conversation. They have worked with me as if I was family so I hate to see negative comments about them. I know anything is possible and no one is perfect but I have never had an imperfect experience with Bob or Bobby.

PS. I have never written any comments on any site like this before but when someone sent me this link, I had to respond. jd

Reason of review: Good customer service.

That may to your disadvantage...and you may need to throw stuff that you have purchased from them in the trash. Check out my guide to buying autographs on eBay...mrpaver...from 2010.

I have been saying this for years. These guys are criminals and guilty of collusion...at least...if not more.

Eaton, Grad, Epstein, Reznikoff, Spence, they are all guilty of collusion and would not know if their own signature they just penned was "genuine" or "likely not genuine." PSA/DNA and all the rest are a joke...just like the stuff on eBay. LOL

I got an email from some chuckle head who claimed to be an attorney. This person further claimed to represent RR AUTOGRAPH AUCTIONS.

The email accused me of using predatory pricing of 'autographs" on eBay. Stated that his client(Eaton) derives his livelihood through the sale of autographs. Asked me to cease and desist. Asked me to kindly remove all autographs from my current eBay listings.

informed me that I could "consign" the autographs with his client.

I am not sure what kind of lawyer would send such an improbable email . This was either a joke, one of Cyrkin's Dirty Dozen, or a real attorney that learned his trade from chuckles the clown

I bought an item authenticated by Steven Zarelli . My second opinion was from PSA and they gave an opinion that the item was not real.

I really do not know whom to believe.

The only reason I sent it to PSA was because the certificate from Steven Zarelli had a cheap look and feel. The embossed seal was a nice touch but the certificate looked cheesy plus it had two spelling errors so I sent it to PSA for a better looking certificate.

R R Autograph Auctions Robert Eaton RR AUCTIONS Sold me a FAKE autograph AMHERST, New Hampshire RR Autograph Auctions sold me a Fake autograph...I recently submitted the Neil Armstrong signed Photograph , that they sold to me, to a authentication company called PSA DNA and they deemed it likely not authentic and refused to issue an authentication. They said the signature was A-Typical.

I contacted RR Auction and they offered to send it to PSA DNA themselves and they promised me that they could get the autograph authenticated. I told them that since PSA DNA already rejected the autograph then it is a fake and I wanted a refund. The only thing they offered me was for me to consign it in their next auction. I wanted a refund but we were at an impasse and I will never buy from them ever again and I will not remain quiet about it.

I will spread the word about this dishonesty.

THIS COMPLAINT WAS POSTED ON RIP OFF REPORT TWO YEARS AGO THEN RR AUCTIONS BECAME RIP OFF REPORT VERIFIED AND THIS COMPLAINT AND OTHERS WERE BURIED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.

RR must be doing something very wrong because they are being named in a class action suit for selling autographs that were declared not authentic by an expert.

RR Auction uses Steve Zarelli and Roger Epperson like pawns. those two are forever posting garbage on AML about RR's competitors , plus annoying and distracting emails are going to ebay sellers.

Enough is Enough. RR has a successful business so stay off AML and leave indpendant ebay sellers alone for the love of God and Country PLEASE.

Between April 2011 and July of 2011, Plaintiff Michael Johnson personally delivered more than 20 autographed music items he had previously purchased from RR Auctions to PSA/DNA Authentication Services located in Santa Ana, California. The autographed items Plaintiff Michael Johnson purchased from Defendants RR Auction came with Certificates Of Authenticity issued from RR Auctions and/or RR Auctions music autograph authenticator, Roger Epperson.

All items submitted by Plaintiff Michael Johnson to PSA/DNA Authentication Services which Plaintiff Michael Johnson had previously purchased from RR Auctions weโ€™re rejected by PSA/DNA Authentication Services as not authentic.

RR has people representing them on AUTOGRAPH MAGAZINE LIVE for example Steven Zarelli has given some upsetting comments about RR's competitors that I feel hit below thebelt. Roger Epperson has also been quite outspoken about dealers and auction houses that compete with RR.

This is the main reason I avoid RR.

I don't like the mud slinging and if it is true then So-What that is no way at all to conduct business. RR needs to place a leash on some of their representatives and conduct a clean productive business and never mind the mud slinging.

I think the choice to have Zarelli do authentications was in part because Zarelli is not afraid to "BADMOUTH" other dealers and auction houses and Zarelli could do RR's dirty work on AUTOGRAPH MAGAZINE LIVE with all his spiteful postings just like Roger Epperson and Reznikoff does.

RR AUCTION joined the Protective Advocacy program with RIP_OFF_REPORT due to a very large number of various complaints about them on that site.

If you look up RR Auctions on Rip-Off-Report there is interesting reading to be found. You have to ignore all the promotional BS about RR first and scroll past it because RR is in the Rip-Off-report Verified program which, for a fee, will bury your complaints with promotional material which places the complaint at the very bottom of the page.

In Denver Colorado The Molly Brown Museum has purchased old vintage letters from estate sales and had a TITANIC LOGO printed along the top so they resemble passenger letters.

These are sold as souvenirs to tourists. One complaint states RR sold one of these as real. No idea if it is true or not but that is the gist of one complaint.

Another complaint is from some old guy named Emil Weisscoff who claims that he had a big collection of autographs that were all inscribed to him. Emil's collection was stolen.Emil Weisscoff claims that he later saw these autographs inscribed to Emil that he recognized in one of RR's auctions.

There is a rebuttal from Bobby Livingstone and he states that the autographs that Emil saw actually came from another collector named Emil Dern. I have no idea who is right and I only know what I read.

I am only telling you what I read.

These may be simple misunderstandings who knows for sure. They were fun to read.

I found another ditty about RR on Rip-Off-Report which is hilarious . It seems that one complainer claim that many years ago before RR was an auction it was a straight catalog .Bob Eaton and his entourage would visit an auction house and sit in the back row and heckle the auctioneer.

The author refers to this as Bob Eaton's "Glory days" .

LOL!!! I laughed so hard when I read this that I cried !!!!!

Did I go to the wrong website or something?I just clicked link on this site to check out RR Auction's website.www.rrauction.com was gonna check out some graphs for my leisure time viewing this evening.

clicked on past auctions. searched for the rock band kiss which I like a lot.

I saw many fakes. they were obvious fakes.

I searched then for Andy Griffith, another favorite of mine. I clicked on one, and again fake. saw where they had Howard McNear floyd the barber listed too as a past sale.

that is a rare name.

again it looked fake. so out of the 3 names I clicked on, I struck out on all 3 seeing fakes mingled in with some good stuff. nothing against rr auctions personally. I just see them advertising on this site and assumed I was gonna see the real deal on their site?

and what boggles my mind is the fake kiss autographs.

they have the most recognizable trade mark logo looking signatures of any rock band I know of. forged ones are usually pretty easy to spot because kiss is pretty consistent with their sigs. but these fake kiss sigs on rr auction r childish looking.

the one Andy Griffith I looked at was a forgery, not even the common secretarial. and the Howard McNear?

nothing like I've seen. and all of that in maybe w me surfing that site for 2 minutes. my gosh. and people paid good good money for these things.

I was going to look at the rr website to study look at soak in some authentic examples just to gain more autograph knowledge not to bust someone out or play autograph police. but I was just kinda shocked at the past sold examples that I saw and am familiar with at www.rrauction.com. I enjoy this autograph magazine website and love the idea behind it - everyone helping everyone to build a better collection and making better buying decisions etc. that's cool.

I've enjoyed offering my help to others on here and I sincerely appreciate all of the nice and helpful advice others have shared with me on here. thank u all very much.Mike

The OP is obviously one of the Eaton Family in Amherst NH. People have right to air complaints. If the Eaton's are not happy with the reports then find a better way to conduct business so there either fewer, or no complaints at all.

"I know anything is possible and no one is perfect but I have never had an imperfect experience with Bob or Bobby."

JD The difference is that Both Bob and Bobby are static in personality and demeanor . The females are not static and certain times of the month they might come across as unreasonable to a client and this is just a fact of life.

The other complaints can be attributed to placing blame on RR for postings on another site
