My friend started selling RF and talked me in to getting startec on the reverse regimen.I used it for 60 days and saw no results.I talked to her boss and told her I did not see any results, she asked me how long it took me to get the spots, I said, over several years and she said I should not expect to get them gone in a couple of months, I continued because of what she said spent almost $1000.00 in less than 6 months. They try to keep you past the 60 day money bach guarantee so you can't get your money back.

I am so very disappointed with these products. I would never reccomend RF to anyone.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

i'm a consultant, and I'm pissed. Breaking out all of a sudden. Will be removing myself from this company!!!

The ladies on a "team" all post the exact comments on each other's posts...it's mind numbing...they also are not allowed to have a political stance. They are all eerily neutral zombies.

It's a pyramid scheme obviously. The point of a pyramid scheme is to keep the people at the top wealthy, while the ones on the bottom lose their shirts.

There's an extraordinary turnover rate among those at the bottom. And when one bottom-feeder sales consultant does not make the money, it becomes "their own fault".

The thing they don't realize is, the "business model" of R&F is for these people to fail no matter what. It's no different than what Bernie Madoff was doing, really.

Not sure what you think a pyramid scheme is, but there is inventory that the consultants have to buy, so how exactly does the bottom tier "lose their shirts"?

Uh-oh. One of the major claims by consultants trying to woo other consultants into the scheme is that thus "business" requires no investment for inventory. They will throw you off the team for being honest.

Actually Bernie Madoff was making money from the people buying into his scheme. The consultants don't "buy" into this. And yes, if a consultant fails, it is her fault- it's called taking responsibility for your own success.

This is a legitimate business model, not a scam. These doctors are Stanford trained dermatologists who know what they're doing, and are generous enough to offer affordable businesses to women and men across the country.

You're, right, though. It's not like a brick and mortar small business. It's extremely affordable, accessible with no overhead costs. Most people are not successful because: 1.

They quit way too early before they develop the skills to be successful, 2. They aren't dedicated enough and don't do the actual work, 3. They don't have a thick enough skin to deal with people like you, so they quit, 4. People just become a 'consultant' and don't actively sell...

I could go on. Back the fact is, this is an extraordinary opportunity for anyone who is willing to have an open mind, pursue it and stick it out. I personally have had amazing results. Just like any product, sometimes it doesn't work as well on some people.

It's the #2 premium skin care company in the country just behind Clinique and they will be #1. You don't get there by selling a *** brand of product.

This is not a legitimate business model It is not a legitimate business. You do not own anything except the overpriced product you you have to buy monthly to stay current in case there are any commissions.

You pay $20 monthly for a website haha. What a joke. You are not the #1 or #2 skincare by any metric. You are 27th.

You are involved in an MLM because you have not been successful elsewhere. R&F is an MLM because it was not successful in the real world of high end skincare. Those are all facts. You can on and on because mode Reps gave an endless supply of bs.

The one fact you can not avoid is that 99% of all MLM consultants fail. But, please don't believe ne. Go to tge company reports.

The only thing you all are very successful at is making the Stanford trained Drs fee rich ladies. Well done

These are all of the lies that are told to consultants that make them feel like failures, when in reality, it's the business model that is the failure. Anyone with any common sense can see that.

Try harder. Don't quit. Stick with it. It's disgusting really.

I have seen people break down, lie, steal from family, just to keep this false dream alive. MLMs should be illegal because of all of the damage they do.

You are so right. The reason the MLMs get away with it is that they pursue people who are undereducated and are looking for a quick fix.

The uplines feed the would be entrepreneurs this bs about owing their own business and being successful. The reality is all the uplines want to do is sell starter kits and get their hands on the new consultants "warm list" of their friends and relatives info - including email addresses and social media info.

The truth is neither the uplines or downlibes have much business acumen. They wouldn't recognize a good business model if it was presented to them.

You have already shown how dumb you are by getting involved in an MLM and now you are showing your complete ignorance by stating it is a legitimate business model. As the saying goes, quit while you're behind.

Amen!!! All the RF consultants I know are super pushy, lack of sales experience and no clue on skin care either! Bunch of Tupperware ladies trying to make a dime all while being sucked into a pyramid scheme.

You're telling her to "own it", yet you're the one posting anonymously.

As is your post and 90% other posts on this site. By suggesting that she own it, I was suggesting that she accept that MLMs are not comparable to legitimate businesses - successes or failures - in any meaningful way.

When 99% of people involved in MLMs fail, I think it is obvious that most MLMs are more scam than legit. Box says comment as anonymous or Login. I dont have a userID & pswd to login so I am anonymous. Now, if I signed it Kelly or Melissa or Linda or Sue does it make me more or less anonymous and/or does it make my comment more or less accurate?

Your post lacks depth and substance as most R&F posts about their AMAZING & AWESOME products as you attempt to scam your friends & relatives out of their money. You are SAD indeed regardless of what name you go by

I used Roden and Fields for 6 mos. the refine did not work therefore I was encouraged to try reverse. I did all the steps night and day yet did not help 600.00 gone no refund.

Not happy really believed yet a loss of money for me.

Is this person who took your $1000 still your "friend"?

Guest

I'm so sorry to hear about your experience! I've seen some AMAZING results!

Your comment is so hollow. If everything about R&F is AMAZING, why do 99% of consultants FAIL?

And, why do 50% of all consultants quit after less than 1 year? And, why are 50% of your customers unhappy with the results or price or both? I'm so sorry when I see a friend get involved in an MLM scam because they almost always lose money & friends and friendships.

Care to comment or refute anything I said? You know my post is spot on!

I'd love to. First and foremost, no business venture is a guaranteed success.

Any that claim to be aren't being truthful. How many small business owners fail? Here is a great article about why 96% of small business fall in ten years. http://www.inc.com/bill-carmody/why-96-of-businesses-fail-within-10-years.html

Things that increase the chances of being successful are good mentors, extremely motivated people and adequate training, which even then don't guarantee.

To specifically go after one business and not others seems unfair. Statistically the odds are against most otherwise everyone would be successful. A career 300 hitter for the MLB strikes out 70% of the time, yet still he is considered a success. A president can win an election gaining on 43% of the vote.

If 99% of a class failed, would it be the teacher or the entire school district at fault? S

Marissa - thanks for the effort but your attempt to compare an MLM to a real business shows your lack of knowledge concerning the real business world. Sorry, but, there is just no comparison.

Many small business fail for various reasons including sone that shouldn't have started in the first place. The MLM model is what causes the 99% failure rate in 1 year. The products effectiveness are iffy at best as compared to competitive alternatives. The prices are generally ridiculous but necessary to fund several layers of commissions.

Consultants are generally unqualified as the only requirement to be one is to buy a kit. Training is a case study in blind leading the blind as an unknowing & relatively new consultant is tasked with training newer consultants. Personal social media is not the marketing media that your sister or friend thinks it is. Too much of the profits flow to the top levels of the pyramid.

Etc etc.

MLMs are destined to fail. Own it and stop comparing the scams to legitimate people trying to run legitimate business that may fail
