Please read the email train below, between myself and the representative for Restonic, he came inspected, agreed the mattress had failed and determined the following: Also, understand there was SLIGHT (1 spot about the size of a silver dollar) blood stain on surface of a degraded 4 yr old mattress with 10 yr warranty.

Saun,

I had sent in the information as we discussed last Friday about your mattress.

Because of the present stains on the mattress surface the warranty is considered not available.

As mentioned, this is a industry standard and not specific to any specific mattress brand.

If you have interest, I am working toward getting you a substantial manufacturing price discount from both the factory and with Amish Furniture.

Unfortunately everyone I need to speak with are not available today.

I will proceed on that quest and respond to you on Tuesday.

You are welcome to contact me with any questions.

Have a good (wet?) memorial weekend.

Regards, Rick

Hi Rick-

Lemme know how your negotiations go?

I realize, it is written in the Restonic pamphlet that one would be charged for shipping, from nearest manufacturer, if it were warrantied. I am curious to see what the price they're willing to give considering their reasoning for not warrantying is surface staining, not the fact the bed broke down prematurely to the warranty period.

Thanks for the note, I will await your response.

Shaun,

The mattress that your presently have is a Model called Florence.

A similar bed in performance would be a Kingston.

A king set sells for at most retail stores for 1999 in a King set so it is a similar price to what you presently have.

Speaking with Amish Furniture they would definitely work with you and offer that mattress to you for $1000 plus any delivery costs.

They understand the situation and want to work with you.

I would suggest that you take sometime and visit the Colorado Blvd location and try out different mattresses to find what you find bests fits you. They will work out a special deal on a mattress of your choice.

Hope this is a little help and let me know what I can assist you with.

Rick

Both the owner of the Restonic manufacturer in Kansas and the owner of Amish Furniture REFUSED to acknowledge any discount or any suggestion of discount on a new mattress. They KNOW their quality is sub-par and put an unobtainable warranty on the tag and in their literature. The fact that Amish furniture wouldn't go above and beyond, considering the 20K we spent with them is also an abomination, Amish should drop that mattress line and you, my fellow consumer should look anywhere else for a mattress, despite any claims Restonic has changed their line or any other SALES pitches. Buy 3 Sealy's or Simmon's and pay 1/3 the price and throw them out every 2-3 years, still a better value!

Reason of review: poor customer service, bad quality, defective, warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $2000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Restonic Mattresses Pros: Bed for 2 yrs of 10yr warranty.

Restonic Mattresses Cons: Restonic manufacturer reponse, Being lied to about discount on new one, Warranty.

Location: Denver, Colorado
