I was reviewing my credit card and notice a $14.95 monthly charge. I saw it last month but thought my husband ordered something because of Christmas.

The same charge was on there again this month. I called to dispute it. They cancelled it and refunded one month only. I asked what was this about.

She stated that it is a VIP membership where I would get 20% off and free shipping on each order. What??? How is that a discount when you are paying a monthly fee. Besides the fact, I did not sign up for it....on purpose, if at all.

All Pyramid Collections magazines will now be tossed in the trash and I am Facebooking my experience to let unsuspecting shoppers aware of this scam. Also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

Reason of review: I was reviewing my credit card and notice a $14.95 monthly charge. I saw it last month but thought my husband ordered something because of Christmas. The same charge was on there again this month. I called to dispute it. They cancelled it and refunded.

Monetary Loss: $30.

Preferred solution: Stop the SCAM. Refund ALL monthly charges. Take me OFF your mailing list. I will never buy from you again because I no longer trust your company..

Location: Talladega, Alabama

Yup, they got me too. It's been 6 months.

I don't know how I missed it, I check my statement every month. I do have another monthly charge for that same amount so I guess I always thought that's what it was.

I sent an angry message, we'll see how they respond. It's too bad because I love their catalog, but I will never order from them again.

Same thing just happened to me August 2019. I called pyramid and I said they would refund the 14.95 and remove me from the VIP program .

Guest

happened to me, too. They then treated me like crap, telling me to be careful buying on the internet.

They said I would get a refund. I plan to alert my bank tomorrow

Same problem here...How do I stop it? I'm out more than $45.00 and no instructions online how to stop it. I love the items in the Pyramid Collection, but this scam is ridiculous.

Same thing happen to me I called my bank I caught it before it had went thru all the way the bank gave me a phone number attached to it to call 1-85*-***-**** I called it and cancelled a membership that I never signed up for, guess it was in the fine print if I took the 20% discount.

The same thing happened to me - today! I ordered one item from the Pyramid Collection a couple of months ago.

Today I noticed a $14.95 charge to my bank account. Not recognizing what it was, I telephoned the bank to report a fraudulent charge against my account. Cancelled my current card and another is being shipped to me.

But, my bank informed me that the same charge was made against my account last month - I just did not notice it. I'm just letting my bank handle it and I will get my full $30 back!

Same thing happened to me today (Oct 2018). What I did first was call my credit card company.

Chase claimed they would send out a letter to the Pyramid catalogue demanding charges be returned for the last 60 days. They've been charging me $14.95 per month for a "VIP membership" since I ordered something from their stupid catalogue in April 2018. Chase told me they would likely be able to get back only 60 days worth of charges. The last two charges from September and October were up to me to get back from Pyramid.

So I just called Pyramid to get those last two charges back. They are very, very tricky with their phone system!! You try calling the customer service number on their website, the phone hangs up repeatedly. I was able to get this VIP customer line through a regular customer service line: 1-85*-***-**** CALL THIS NUMBER.

The very nasty woman on the phone tried to tell me she would refund me ASAP and tried desperately to get me off the phone. I wouldn't accept that. I asked her HOW MUCH and WHEN i would supposedly get this money back. She claimed it would be $89 in 3-5 business days.

Highly doubt that. But we'll see. We'll see if either Chase or Pyramid will give me ANY money back.

In the meantime, I'm going to explore reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau. Moral of the story; companies like Pyramid are soulless and its important to check your statement CAREFULLY every month!

You hit it on the nail, this is a total scam

I did NOT sign up for this either!!! but it's on my monthly statements, WTFRrick???!!!

I ordered a dress that ended up being back ordered for 30 days with no guarantee that it would ship. I just logged in to review my CC statement and there it is a $14.95 unauthorized charge to my account.

I said NO to the "discount" program when I did the order as this was a 1 and done order.

I now have to call them and my CC company who will then freeze my account and send out a new card. Not a happy person right now!

Just got scammed on this. I would have NEVER EVER signed up for a monthly charge for a place I rarely purchase from.

they said "I entered my email address"...I asked where it said I was signing up for a monthly charge, no answer. What *** this scam is. I like discount programs, but I want to KNOW I'm in a discount program. I'm sure I entered my email thinking I was signing up for a catalog or email program.

I just found an email in my SPAM folder saying I was in the program "30 days for free". This is a program you have to OPT OUT OF!! Another old tyme scam tactic. Buh Bye Pyramid!!

"As a reminder, the first 30 days of your membership have been made available to you for free!

After your trial period, your membership will automatically continue for just $14.95 a month, and will be charged to the credit card you authorized when you enrolled. If you decide not to continue your membership after your trial period, simply log onto PyramidCollectionVIP.com or call 855-226-**** to cancel.

Of course, theres no obligation to continue. You can cancel at any time if you're not completely satisfied, and there will be no future charges."

I am a happy customer. Although there is a cost of $14.95 per month, I found I was able to save a ton on 5% rebates from places like Home Depot, Lowes, Target.

It's really easy to submit the details and they've all been approved.

I've received checks for a total of $126.67. Definitely worth it, but you have to look into the details on your membership and maximizing the deals.

I am with you, James! I get about $80 a month in refunds on purchases at Home Depot, Target, Sam’s club, Walmart and on and on and on.

If I order on line I get up to $10 postage and handling refunded and if I order from premier merchants I get 10% back instead of the normal 5%. I signed up for it on purpose and originally bought 6, $25 gift cards a month at a 10% discount which paid for the membership. That program ended but I still collect from 60 to 100 each month in rebates. I am very satisfied and have no complaints.

Lastly, you can go back up to 3 months from the current date to claim receipts. Take another look at the details and get rebates on home improvement, groceries as well as clothing etc.

Unfortunately I too am a bigtime victim of this scam. I placed a few orders over the 2015 Christmas holiday season and just not realized that there has been a reoccurring monthly charge of $14.95 that automatically has been charged to my credit card since then.

I made my initial purchases with my husbands credit card and therefore wasn't aware that the card was being charged every month since December of 2015! It is now June of 2017!!! I am extremely disappointed that this membership was not disclosed in a upfront instead of it being hidden somehow in fine print.

I really like Pyramid's items and haven't placed an online order since the 2015 holiday season and feel completely violated by this company due to this apparent forced membership that was somehow hidden when placing my order! I feel a 50% reimbursement at the very least should be given to me.

Thank you! I WAS a loyal shopper and just saw the scam charge on my credit card.

I never signed up for this service but the charge for it is there. I am truly disappointed.
