For the last 4 litters I have advertised with Puppyfind, AKC, Nextday pets and a few free sites. None of those who ultimately purchased came from Puppyfind.

I did get contacts but they were from staff of puppyfind acting like purchasers, not real purchasers. I check out my purchasers online carefully. But no sales from Puppyfind. Most came from Nextday pets and the pictures posted there, but a few from the AKC site which doesn't allow pictures to be posted and surprisingly a few from the free sites.

I paid the premium so that buyers had full access to all of my information, but still no sales. As I breed seldom this was over several years, but in each case the results were the same.

I went over the statistics carefully. Sorry Puppyfind, I tried.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Hello,

This is PuppyFind.com Customer Support.

We are glad you were able to sell your puppies even if it wasnโ€™t through our site. We understand how frustrating it can be to not receive enough interest in your puppies.

ย

The following tips are general suggestions to help improve your listings and the exposure they receive.

1. ย Buyers often wish to look at photos of the puppy in each listing, so keeping the photos up to date may increase the number of times your listings are viewed. You are able to upload 5 photos per listing. ย Make sure your photos are a good representation of the puppy you are selling.

ย Many times buyers will skip listings either that do not have photos attached or the photos attached make it difficult to see the dog in its entirety. ย

2. ย Ensure that you utilize the description section of the listing to talk about the puppy being advertised. ย Interested parties will want to know information about the puppy such as personality, energy-level, physical characteristics not shown in the photos as well as information about purchasing the puppy, an explanation of what is included or an offer to come visit the puppy.

ย This section is your opportunity to sell or show off the puppy to a potential buyer. 3. ย Make sure you fill out your Kennel Description. ย This information can be edited under the My Account tab and will appear at the bottom of every listing you submit.

This section is your opportunity to sell yourself and your services. ย Utilizing this section can help a potential buyer feel good about contacting you for one of your puppies. ย Remember that for a potential buyer, contacting a Breeder/Seller over the Internet can be a little intimidating. ย They want to feel comfortable with whom they are contacting.

This is your chance to let them know that you are the Breeder they are looking for. 4. ย Check out your competitors listings to see where you fall with regard to price. ย Are your prices too high or too low?

ย Either of these scenarios can turn off a potential buyer. ย Pricing your puppies can be difficult because pricing the puppy too high, even though you may feel the price is more than warranted, can put the puppy out of reach for many Buyers however, pricing the puppy too low can make the potential buyer think the puppy being offered is not of good quality. ย Checking where you fall amongst your competitors can give you an idea of where you want to be with your price. ย If your prices are a little higher than most, you can offset that by making sure that your kennel description is used to explain why you are the right choice for the potential buyer to purchase from.

5. It is possible that your email provider is blocking emails from unknown senders. Please make sure that buyer@***.com is added to your contact list. You should also check your spam folder to make sure that messages aren't being directed there.

There is an Email Archive available on your PuppyFind.com account that will provide a copy of any email you have received through the website within the past 7 days. ย If you are not getting any responses, you may want to check the Email Archive to confirm no mail has been sent. ย When you log into your Seller account, the Email Archive link is located on the left hand side of the screen under Quick Tips. 6.

ย Also, when your listings fall further back in the search results, when ordered by List Date), you can update your listing to bring it back to the front of the search results. ย You are able to update your listings up to 5 times in a 24 hour period. Please be advised that you will be required to enter a 4 digit security code after each listing update is done. This is to insure that it is an actual person updating the listings and not a computer script.ย  I hope these tips help you in selling your puppies in the future.

ย Please understand that PuppyFind has no control over a potential buyer choosing to contact you versus another Breeder. ย Choosing a puppy and a Breeder is a personal decision and there is no way of knowing why a Buyer picks one listing over another. Hopefully, however, following these tips will result in renewed interest in your listings.
