Really sad today because I realize we were totally scammed by Edgar Alarcon with PB resort. We paid $2500 for what they called a 15 year timeshare.

We were also told that the packet of information would come to us within 6 weeks. It has been over 2 months and I have received nothing so I called today to find out that: We are not owners but just part of the PB Preferred Passport. This gives you a week at a discounted rate but more like $700 ish and not the $160 that Edgar told us about. Your annual bonus cash of 3K is applied to the inflated regular rate in order to get down to $700 ish.

He also told us we could come as many weeks as we wanted each year...but what he didn't tell us was that we would have to pay around $2200 just for the hotel because we would be out of bonus cash until the next year. I could do better by just booking online without the fake membership. He also threw in a free cruise and said we would need to only pay port fees which is so not true.

Such a bold face liar and I cannot believe we fell for it. Please just walk away when they get you to the final place to receive your prize for listening to their pitch because if they have it their way they will give you another pitch.

Reason of review: being scammed.

Monetary Loss: $2500.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Pueblo Bonito Cons: Being hustled into a bad deal.

Sorry / such a bummer. It is just not what you expect to happen when you seal the deal with them.

Why not call Mitch McDonald and ask him if he can get your reservation? He is nice enough and with that name he is not Mexican - he didn't help me but he might help you.

Awe, sorry to hear you got ripped off too. I complained to the developer who in turn put me in touch with Edgar's boss - Mitch McDonald @ 01152 6** **2 9999 x 7056

He was nice but assured me that if Edgar was misleading I was the only one who thought so. He did not back down in any way do I had to chalk it up to a life lesson: beware of scammers who seem like they are not - and if you get scammed in another country there is no recourse.

Just read about the ongoing scam at Pueblo Bonito Sunset related to the Pueblo Bonito Preferred Passport by Lifestyle Collection presented to my wife and I by Edgar at the end of a timeshare presentation. I too was provided false information related to this worthless program which resulted in my purchase done under false promises. I have been an owner at Pueblo Bonito for eight years and I am disappointed that the management of Pueblo Bonito would allow this type of scam to continue at its most prized resort.

Same thing happened to us... free cruise my rear...

they told us we would only pay the port fees and that's not the case now that they have our money... they lied about the prices we would pay to use their report.

I basically handed them thousands to do for me what Expedia an for free.... walk away

Sorry that this happened to you too. The fact that such a scam is being run at a reputable resort is really disturbing!
