I am writing to escalate several concerning issues related to my 2023 Princecraft Vectra 21 RL. I have been in contact with your customer service team, specifically Brigitte, and unfortunately, have not found a resolution or received satisfactory communication regarding my complaints.
Given the severity of the situation, I find it necessary to bring this matter to your immediate attention.
*Bimini Top: While trailering my boat to Kingston, Ontario, at speeds between 60-80 km/h on an 80 km/h highway, my Bimini top dislodged entirely and suffered significant damage. I have photographic evidence that proves the top was in the proper trailer position, contrary to what has been implied by your team.
*Mooring Cover: The mooring cover is fraying and peeling at the edges and Velcro sections, clearly indicating a material or manufacturing defect. I must clarify that I have never used the cover while trailering the boat.
*Additional Issues: I have faced several other quality issues, such as seat staining and a broken trim switch, which have eroded my trust in the product's quality.
I have taken every precaution in maintaining and operating my boat, and I can substantiate all my claims with photographic evidence, timestamps, and other documentation as needed.
Regrettably, the communication I have received accuses me of dishonesty and makes incorrect assumptions about the conditions leading to these issues. My boat has only been on a trailer for a total of 278 km since I purchased a new trailer on July 31st.
The statement that "pontoons have been built this way for 30 years" is irrelevant to the unique problems I have encountered with this particular boat.
I find it alarming that despite my efforts to resolve these matters professionally, I am being met with resistance and a lack of accountability. If these issues are not promptly and satisfactorily resolved, I am prepared to file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and proceed with legal action in small claims court.
I urge you to review my case and take immediate action to rectify these issues.
It is my sincere hope that we can resolve these matters amicably, restoring my faith in Princecraft's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
