The mission of Precious Pups is to provide high quality of life for dogs of all ages. Precious Pups Animal Rescue currently has a small shelter of its own, and it works in collaboration with the local animal shelters and area dog owners. Precious Pups has an aggressive spay/neuter program that provides financial assistance to dog owners. The organization also assists in finding homes for dogs that are lost, abandoned, abused, or in need of medical attention. The not-for-profit organization helps dogs in a variety of ways, including: arranging for prospective adopters to visit dogs that need homes; advertising for dogs that need to be adopted; providing supplementary financial assistance to owners for dogs that need to be spayed or neutered; providing non-financial assistance to dog owners that would improve a dogs quality of life; and promoting public education concerning responsible, committed dog ownership.
