The idea is cute, the experience good that first year. I cancelled so I thought and was charged the following year.
The company only refunds with a receipt but I can not locate anywhere on the site, but I see on my bank account the charge. They charge and you pay through your bank, but somehow customer services needs a receipt, one that was not provided to me. I screenshot my bank account and gave all the information i could. And still they need a receipt.
It even shows I did not use. I reached out the day I was charged, and it took a month to get a response. There have been several emails back and forth, I am not rude, but I just don't understand, you can take the money out of a person's account but the company has NO record? It's 14.99, I am now moving on, but it is wrong.
I am not going to spend another month trying to get 14.99.
It is insane that the business model is not about customer satisfaction or even refunding what obviously was deducted. Also, a month for them to response but if you do not respond with in a week of them responding they close out the request, heads up.
User's recommendation: Make sure you only sign up for one year.
Monetary Loss: $15.
Preferred solution: Full refund.

Portable North Pole Cons: Do not send accurate receipts nor keep accurate records.
