Palm Beach County library serves bibliophiles of all ages and interests. It offers 1.7 million recorded, print and downloadable books in different categories, as well as newspapers, magazines, CDs and DVDs. On its web-site visitors can not only find the book that they are looking for but also participate in Summer Book Discussion Club, sharing the enjoyment from their favorite novels and films with other enthusiasts. Besides that, Palm Beach County library presents children's programs and trains adults in its computer and Internet usage classes. Founded in 1967, the library constantly expands via Internet and new branch locations. During 2011 year it has welcomed over 53,000 new cardholders.
