I donated to enter a contest this summer. I used a brand new card I'd just activated (and was too lazy to connect all my online purchasing to) and magically a week later my card was charged at a pizza place and a tescos in the UK....i live in Seattle, wa.

Aside from a 2hr layover in Heathrow 7yrs ago, I've never set foot in Europe.

Don't know anyone there, don't do business with anyone there. So basically I "donated" money to a "good cause" which sold my info and i ended up paying for someone's pizza/beer until the bank reversed the fees.

Someone swiped your card at Heathrow. Most likely not Omaze.

Samething happened to my card though at O'Hare on the way to Heathrow.

I don't use this particular card at all except paying bills and ATM withdrawal, but this card got swiped among all cards in my wallet. So your comment might not be credible.

I haven't been to Heathrow since 2010. But thanks for the thought?
