Nextdoor - Membership denied
The problem has not been resolved and with the current state of paranoia I doubt it will. I am working through the courts to get my situation resolved. Sorry I didn't respond earlier but I have been busy on several other projects and priority on this has just been too low.
I received an invitation to join from a neighbor. When I went to the web site to join I was denied because I am an ex-sex offender in a case that involved my daughter and has been resolved...17 years ago.
I am a retired Navy captain with 29 years of service and I have lived in my home in this neighborhood for nearly 13 years. I have a great relationship with my neighbors. My daughter has moved from Michigan and lives only 7 miles from me. Your arrogant policy driven by paranoia and media instilled fear is typical of those who have bought the lies about sex offenders...ex-sex offenders...which have the lowest recidivism rate of any offenders.
In Florida a 'recommendation for sainthood' will not get one removed from the registry. It is part of the job security program for the 'department of collections'.
I live a peaceful, productive life in my community and not being permitted to join your so-called organization will not bother me one bit. May God open your eyes!
Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.
Preferred solution: Organization wakes up to reality.
