I was approached by a sales lady from TZ Insurance (a broker for MOO) who sold me on a Supplemental Plan G with $166 deductible. Sounded great over the phone.

She gave me her direct number and email and said if I had any questions... emails, phone calls, etc. NEVER returned. Ignored me completely.

MOO provided NO INSTRUCTIONS or guides about what to do (I transitioned off an Advantage Plan with copays and no hassles). Try calling any of the MOO numbers! Can never get a person on the phone. When I got EOBs with every charge showing NO COVERAGE when I should have had, I tried to call them with questions.

Endless wait or a robot call back that often fails and hangs up on you. They passed the buck when I finally got a person on the line and complained. Said I had to contact Medicare (they also never answer phone). NO ONE WOULD HELP ME.

THEY ALL SAID THEY DID NOT HAVE ACCESS! I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM MOO AGAIN.

NEXT YEAR ANOTHER CARRIER! ALSO WILL NEVER BUY FROM TZ INSURANCE!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Helps to see reports such as this when trying to determine which company to purchase medicare supplement plan from!

I am sorry to hear that you experienced that ordeal, there is no excuse for bad customer service and the agent that sold you the plan should have definitely followed up with you.

Plan G generally has comprehensive coverage and there is definitely a problem if you are not covered for your basic healthcare needs, however coverage for things that are considered cosmetic in nature will not be covered. Also be sure that you Part B premium payments are up to date.
