Money network is the worst company I have ever encountered in my entire life. They charge hidden fees for using your debit card, limit how much of YOUR MONEY that can be accessed per day, they claim to have free ATM access at approved sites but charge you $1.75 every time you use an approved ATM (even just to check the balance) and charge you this same $1.75 on top of the ATM owners fee for non-approved ATMs, have a useless website that jerks you around in a circle with incomplete or inaccurate instructions, the customer service agents are difficult to get on the phone and rude and defiant once you finally reach someone, it takes an entire WEEK to cancel a check and the entire time your funds are put on hold, and they are inconsistent with their direct deposit system and times but yet they "guarantee" you will receive your money faster.

The whole company, system, and product is nothing but a huge scam and people should really stop doing business with them and it should be ILLEGAL for companies to mandate you to use one of these *** cards. Employers are required to pay you the agreed upon wages minus tax and whatever benefits you have, that does NOT include all the fees, time, and hassle of "money network." Companies like this are extremely dangerous because it starts to infringe on freedom, like how much money you wish to withdrawal out of your account today or WHO you wish to bank with in the case of employers "mandating" this absuridy!

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Does anyone read the terms of service anymore? These cards are really for people that can't get bank accounts.

In order to effectively use the service if don't get the card through an employer would be purchasing things and getting cash back. Just you can't avoid the maintenance fees. And as far as limiting your funds that is a government mandated thing. It was put in place with the terrorism act.

This is even with banks. It may be your money and all but laws are laws.

Nope this comment is not absurdity. This card IS mandated through my employer and I don't make enough money for it to be "legal" to hold my funds.

No matter how you slice it, this card is a scam from the fees to the customer service to the website. I understand that if you get this card voluntarily, it is supposed to be for people who cannot get bank accounts. But even so, it is morally wrong to take advantage of people who have bad credit or low income because they cannot get a bank account. This card is highway robbery.

I understand not loaning money to people with bad credit and I understand not offering perks like overdraft protection, but to actively take money from people and exploit the fact that they cannot have a real bank account should be criminalized.

On top of that, it should be illegal for this company to make deals with employers to mandate their employees to have this card, which I have already explicitly stated is my situation. It is INSANE to try and blame the government for this company'sโ€‹ sleezy actions!

Oh and I almost forgot, I ABSOLUTELY ready the agreement and all the ridiculous paperwork that was sent with this card and I thought it was robbery then and I stick by my belief now. However, like I've stated several times, I had NO choice in this matter!
