Poor quality tv and internet

I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes, and was told the problem (pixelated tv and slow internet), may not be solved. Could not say if it would take hours, days, weeks to correct due to older, failing infrastructure.

Any time a local program receives a heavy volume of viewership the system fails. My bill has gone up, the quality has gone down, and my confidence that this will be resolved has disappeared.

I did not like being upsold on a different plan because this one has failed. Unless someone reaches out to me immediately to address these problems, I will switch to a service that will attempt to provide a quality product.

I had a very nice saleman, Jared come to my house and promote the Metronet that was run in my neighborhood a few months back. He offered me a 60 1-gig internet speed with a $50 install.

I jumped as this as my current spectrum bill for half the speed was $85 bucks a month. The tech came on a Saturday did the install. I was pleased with his work the speed was great. I got my first bill and it was $156 and the statement had no promotion and charged me a $12 tech fee which was not mentioned.

Even at 72 that would be cheaper. I called and was on hold for nearly 30 minutes and then another 15 when the customer service rep couldn't answer my questions. When she finally got back to me they said there was no promotion in my area and all I got was a weak apology. I canceled but even that process sucks.

I have to drive to a UPS store. Closest one is 30 minutes away. When she asked if there was anything else she could do since she couldn't offer me the price I was guaranteed that she could send me a check for the gas it was going to cost me to drive the equipment to the UPS store. Absolutely horrible experience.

Jesus how bad does that sound when I still have to deal with Spectrum. Lord beer me strength.

Called customer care to get a code to allow my daughter to access the internet
It was after hours and she was working at our home. Unable to talk with a live person
AI had no menu item close to what we needed
which was a forgotten password. Same prompt every time. Could not get through. Idea of customer service was not even close.
