Medicinal Cannabis was founded in 2008 in Canada to provide medicinal cannabis products to legitimate patients. The company is owned by non-profit organization: The Vancouver Dispensary Society. Services are available only for registered members with a valid medical need who have prescription from their doctors for taking medicinal cannabis products because of corresponding diagnosis.
Besides that, the society conducts an academic research study to develop an understanding of medicinal cannabis users. The effectiveness of cannabis as a medicine today is recognized by many medical specialists, but Medicinal Cannabis wants to remove doubts and uncomfortable feeling that some doctors have recommending cannabis to patients.
