Avoid this company unless you want to be stranded with your SIM plan not working and unable to contact anyone!
I took out 2 SIMs with prepaid plans with Lyca, which included data, calls and texts.
However, in an emergency when I tried to make a call I instead had a message telling me there was no credit so I couldn't make a call, the same then also happened with trying to send a text instead, I should have had both calls and texts. I tried to use mobile data only for this to also be apparently the same!
When I was finally able to check my account it showed as PAYG despite there being prepaid plans on both SIMS and the data plan I had taken out had also apparently halved in data from when it had been taken out.
A complaint email to customer service over ten days ago has only resulted in 2 absolutely pure nonsense responses, with very poor English and making no sense or any closer to an answer in any way as to what had happened to leave me stranded.

My e sim not working and customer care don't know how to fix this

hi, my name is Dilshan, i had switch to lyca 1 month ago and From the day 1 i had issue with network no range can't get calls internet is slow, poor network coverage, then issues to switch to e-sim, once i switched i accidently deleted my esim now i don't have a sim card customer care telling me different thing each time when i am calling and brought a new sim by thinking i can swap sim at least i can't even do that now because in your website sim management option is gone, last 2 days i don't have a sim and no one there to help after spending hours of waiting in waiting customer care line they just disappointing and don't know what they doing also.

Worst mobile customer service ever i met in my UK time. I took 3 phone calls today.

All the times I had to wait 8 minutes minimum. But what they told, please call again after few hours or next day. They have no solutions for customer issues. I have 20 pounds in my account & wanted to renew the bundle.

Just a simple thing.But cant help. No one can do it.

Mobile app also not working. This is a shame to be a customer of lyca

So around 24th of september my sim stopped working all of a sudden. I bought years ago and never registered it.

So when it stopped working i tried to get it sorted. I called customer service but after 40/45 min waiting all they said our system is down we cant do anything right now. This happened multiple time to over 10 days. Finally i was able to get it registered and then started the game of getting my old number swapped to new sim.

So i tried online, it has error. I tried calling again. Same thing long waiting and no result. Then after few days finally i was able to get it swapped, but since then my outgoing is not working.

It has been almost 10 days that i am basically without a phone because sim got swapped and now i cant make calls, send messages or use internet. I have been trying to call them for 10 days and everytime they play the game of 'CALL US IN AN HOUR'. I tried sending email but still nothing on that. I dont know what else to do.

I asked customer service to transfer me to Manager on duty. They put me on hold and then disconnected.

I dont know what else to do. I tried to be patient and speak with respect as much i can.
