Lord & Taylor reduced my already small credit card limit with my knowledge after I paid off the entire card balance in the previous months. This company and Synchrony bank ( GE Capitol bank) are discriminatory and unethical.

To make matter worse, a company representative was not versed with accurate information to assist my dire concerns about the reduction of credit card limit. Nor could she provide a reason for the unethical discriminatory decision made to reduce my credit card limit The suggested to file a credit dispute on my behalf which would take an additional 2 months in order to resolve my concerns. It is sad that I was treated so poorly as a customer and tax paying citizen of American.

I have lost full faith and credit in this company. I will continue to complain about their practices until there are store policy changes made.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Monetary Loss: $300.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

First of all, this has nothing to do with L&T. It was the bank- GE bank that reduced your limit.

Their decision, just like any other credit card company is based on your credit history and payment history with them. You did one or more of the following - applied for more credit with someone else, went over your limit, payed too little, or were late with or missed payments. Banks assign credit limits based on the risk that you pose to them. Smaller risk = more credit.

They can help how you handle your credit, only you can. They just make decisions based on it like any bank would.

This is not discriminatory or unethical. You can read the cards terms or service and see that this information was already explained.

Credit Limit. You will be assigned a credit limit that we may increase or decrease from time to time.

If we approve a purchase that makes you go over your credit limit, we do not give up any rights under this Agreement and we do not treat it as an increase in your credit limit.

This is a part of the credit agreement YOU signed. It says that your account can have the limit increased or decreased from time to time.

It does not say you will be notified ahead of time, nor does it say they are required to give you a reason. Therefor it is not unethical or discriminatory for them to decrease your limit, mostly because YOU agreed to let them do it.

Be thankful you got out now. Synchrony Bank is the fourth name change for GE Money Bank, GE Capital Retail Bank GE Capital Retail Money Bank.

There are no words to describe how "EVIL" they are. Go back & look at all your past statements, I'm pretty sure you will find money stolen from you by these "Crooks".

This company Lord & Taylor needs to be investigated for "Illegal Activity". In fact any COMPANY that uses

this bank for credit card processing is probably making "Billions" along with Synchrony.

The "Employee" names some of the stores & companies that use them.

I was told that Pay Pal Smart Connect is the credit card for the company EBAY.

If that doesn't work just go to Images & look for the green snakes. The type of math they use is not of this Earth it is from the seventh planet in our Solar System from the Sun.

Unfortunately they give credit cards to people who don't deserve them. That is the only thing that is unethical about this company.

They give out low limit $400-500 cards to people who have no money as-is. Then when these people go over their limit or get fees for late payments they complain that the company is evil.

Don't sign up for the card if you don't agree to the terms. Don't buy things that you don't have the money for.

Anonymous do you work for any of these companies? You need to do some research on the web it is not all clean cut & dry.

This Bank in my opinion is the most "Corrupt" in America. They say they are sorry yet continue to defraud the customer. It will be real interesting when the United States Postal Inspector which is a Federal Investigation right now finds out just how badly they have cheated customers not to mention the other state & federal agencies investigating them in these matters since October of 2011 when I found out just how bad they lie, steal, cheat, the list goes on & on.

No matter which way you cut it there is NO excuse for these "Crooks" to continue what they do in order to make all those Billions & Billions.

I have been submitting documents since October of 2011 up to the present. Go & look at all the "Class Action Lawsuits" that have been filed & how much they have been ordered to pay on the internet.

They are trying to get "Class Action Lawsuits Banned"? Gee, I wonder why?

If you need to know why just go check a few of the settlements some go into the Billions in fines.

Everything that I have posted & uploaded documents to pissed consumer & rip-off report is all there doing not mine. Why don't you go check out some of these documents you don't have to read the posts just look at the documents.

You have no idea just how bad this is. If they meant what they tell customers about trying to make it right it would not continue to happen, yet it does continue to this day. I can almost guarantee you that half those Billions & Billions they brag about were made by "Illegal Business Practices"! They have changed there name now four times & continue to screw the customer.

On this review number #522235 you will see different amounts due with two bills for the month of August 2014 plus they can't add. The two online statements are both different & the statement in the mail is also different ALL different amounts for one Month due along with my credit limit!
