Listia money has lost its value DRAMATICALLY over the years. So if you sell items and don't buy items with those points in the near future you'll find yourself screwed as I am.

In July of 2015 here's what you could buy credits for:

16,000 - $5.00

32,000 - $10.00

64,000 - $20.00

160,000 - $50.00

Now here's what you buy credits for:

86,000 $5.00

172,000 $10.00

344,000 $20.00

860,000 $50.00

So credits are worth 5 TIMES LESS than just over a year ago. Can you imagine if your US dollar was valued at 5X less in the matter of a year? What a scam.

Reason of review: Dishonest Business.

Monetary Loss: $1000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Listia Cons: When they hyper-inflated and made my credits worthless.

Location: Los Angeles, California

I agree, I try to take as many surveys as I can and earn credits. and then redeem it for cash as soon as I can.

Blame GREEDY SELLERS! Listia has NOTHING to do with it.

When a seller sells credits, the rate goes up for buyers. So if a seller sells 29,000 credits per $1.00, in the credit store you will see $5 for 145,000 credits. This is HOW it works.

I made a youtube video about it.

I explained how things worked, because a lot of people do not know. If everyone that sold credits got in line, instead of moving the bar up, the credit rate would drop. But some sellers are too greedy, they want to get their credits sold faster than others. If you are first in line, you get paid before anyone else.

Stop the greedy sellers and watch the credit rate and value of credits drop.

I love for it to go back to 10,000 per $1 or even 8,000 per $1. But Until the greedy sellers are gone, it won't happen.

Ps, if you are able to sell credits, you should never hold on to them.

Sell em right away or save up 10 million to buy a ps4. :) lol

Exactly what happened to me. I was off listia for awhile and when I went back my $100.00 worth of credits is now not even worth a cup of coffee.

WTF!!

You would think that if you already had that amount it would remain.....and from that point you would have to follow the new rules. You would think something could be done about previous credits up to the point of increase.

but I certainly do not know what that would be. Wish I did.
