We bought our home from CalAtlantic (now Lennar) at Falls of Hickory Flats (Canton, GA). Our home is very nice but having a problem with microwave and everyone at Lennar (formerly CalAtlantic when we bought) passes the buck and not step forward to help.
Our display went out and under warranty. It turns out we have no model/serial number sticker on microwave and repairman says it usually means faulty and aftermarket and probably hiding something from us. After some investigating, Whirlpool gave the supposed model number to repairman but part is still on order and wonder if it is true model number. I would add that the model number provided whirlpool does not match what the design center informed us we would get when building our home.
We wanted answers from Lennar and reached out to salesperson, builder and design center contact.
Salesperson informed us they no longer help us after the close. The builder said he only puts in what the design center orders and provides to him. The design center person passed it onto (warranty) customer service. Customer Service never returned any emails or contacts within last 2 weeks.
No one would provide answers to us. All passed the buck onto someone else. Now we have a faulty microwave provided to us.
I am very disappointed in Lennar for this and thought the company would step up and right the wrong. I am very displeased with this experience and would turn me off from a future home purchase from them
