Lane Furniture - Help
I have a Lane recliner that I bought about 20 years ago at Dillards! Yes...20 years or plus. I love this chair. But recently the metal mechanism broke into.
I can't find the serial number under the chair probably because my Lane chair is old. However...It is guaranteed for a lifetime. And I am the original owner.
Can you please, please, help me.
Dillards no longer sells this chair.
Who can help me?
I love my chair and I have taken excellent care of it.
Again...I can't find anything under the chair with a serial number. Is there any way you can use my name and the place I bought it to find the serial number. I am not mad I am just desperate to get my chair fixed.
Reason of review: My wonderful Lane chair broke and I want it fixed under the lifetime guarantee but seem to be having difficulty since the chair is over 20 years old. Actually, I would probably make a great advertisement for Lane...my chair is 20+ years! .
Monetary Loss: $600.

HA! I have the exact same issue...bought the leather, high-leg recliner about 20 years ago.
Just this year, both springs broke off. I sent an email to the company around Thanksgiving time, and have...not...heard...one word. AND..Lane still makes this style. Home Depot sells a spring that MAY work, but I'd like to find the original replacements ones, if possible.
I am going to try this:
