Cheese sauce is not just melted cheese... You need to make it properly. Did you even look up a recipe? Some people are so ***.

well, to make a cheese sauce, you just don't melt cheese... You must bring some milk and a teaspoon of cornstarch or flour to a boil, then simmer (making a roux) then add the cheese very slowly to melt. If you just plop cheese in a pan it will curdle.
