I took my Kia K900 in to Kia of Huntington New York because the check engine light came on and it was rattling and shaking. We have an extended warranty so we figured we'd mention the passenger seat that's motor was broken.

The stereo/ display will also randomly shut off.

After being told our extended warranty may not cover everything, we told them to look at it and let us know. We dropped my car off before Labor day weekend, 9/1/2021. Weeks went by and Charlie (customer service) calls and tells us the seat is on back order. My boyfriend asks him about the check engine light.

Charlie says it's not on. My boyfriend goes there and asks for the key to show them the light is in fact on!

The manager John gives my boyfriend his card and tells him to contact him, and he'll help us from here.

Charlie contacted my boyfriend 2 times in 3 months! We are told a couple of weeks later the part won't be in for 2 more weeks. At this point, we tell them to call us when it's ready.

We go pick it up on 11/24/2021.

My boyfriend dealt with them this whole time because last time we went there I told him they were very rude. We figured at a Kia dealership, they should be able to get the parts and have mechanics who know what they're doing. I go inside and pay. I'm escorted out to the car.

I turn it on and the tire pres sure is low. I was so annoyed I just drove to work like that. I have my boyfriend put air in the tires when I get home. We're all excited to get my car back finally!

We went out to dinner as a family. My kids mentioned a screw that's loose. I told them I'd look at it later because it was dark out and I was in the passenger seat.

The following day we go to get gas and I see they placed screws that aren't holding anything in the back of my seat. Looking at the driver's seat there are no screws in the back of that 1.

The seat should be flush. I immediately call and leave a message for the manager to call me back. I expressed how pissed off I was and to please call me right away. I went there to see if by chance the service department was open.

I'm. I was told it was not and showed the young man who I spoke with the seat. He told me to contact the service department. The next day we're outside cleaning the garage and my boyfriend noticed a Dent and and scratch on my back passenger door.

It was not there when we originally dropped off the car.

Monday morning I called requesting to speak to John and was told he was with a customer ( I call bologna!) The woman that works in the service department asks my name and number and I let her know I'd be in shortly. I did not leave my info because they had it and I knew that he wouldn't call back anyways.

I go and ask to speak to another manager who tells me I should speak to John the service manager. I let him know that John did not call me back, and I was very upset. He walked with me to find John in The service department.

I show him the seat and he takes pictures immediately. I tell him listen to the engine. He hears the squealing and says we will get it all taken care of and make it rridiculous that none of my tires had air in them. His excuse was That it had been cold.

After having somebody's car for 2 seasons of course it was cold! They could've put a little bit of air in tires. I told him I was not going to leave my car until they had the part. My boyfriend ends up showing up and flipping out and getting kicked off of Kia's property.

Anyone would understand his frustration at this point. John called me and told me my boyfriend was no longer allowed on the property and if he did so he would be arrested. He told me he would have the part in on 12/7/2021. He says he will call as soon as it's in.

On 12/9/21 I sent him an email asking about the part. and was told that he would get back to me the next day and the part should be in should be in. I don't hear anything back from him so I sent him an email on 12/13/2021 We're questing an update and the general manager's number. No word until 12 /15/2021 just saying the parts in when do you wanna come I'm gonna come.

I message Sam I would be coming by in the morning. I go in this morning And drop off the car and I'm told that I could wait for it.. I asked about the squealing engine and and John says oh yeah it's also squealing and tells Charlie to write that up in the order.. I received a call from Charlie later in the afternoon saying it's ready for pick up.

I asked about the engine being fixed and no longer squealing and Charlie proceeds to tell me that it never did. I Asked him if they drove it around at all after letting him know it has to be driven for a bit for the squealing to start is willing to start. He said he had 2 of his guys drive the car. I asked him if I needed to go down there to drive it around so that he could hear the squealing and he told me that would be fine.

My blood was boiling!!! (I'm at work and my boss knows what I've been dealing with because it has been months. I was in tears one day because I had such a terrible tenson headache dealing with this Kia Service department.) I leave work and go there to to drive my car around for a good 10 minutes manette's. Mind you I took a picture of the mileage when I dropped it off and it was exactly the same mileage.

They did not drive my car are around. I take it back with it squealing. John tells me he'll have to put another claim in with my extended warranty and asks me for the number. Charlie doesn't even know that I have an extended warranty once again.

I let John know that it was on all my paperwork on in my file. Now that the car is squealing once again it's my problem once again period of course they don't want to help me. And while I'm standing there they're talking about how how one of their mechanics is at the car wash and when is out is the out picking up a customer. In this whole time we were never offered anything of the sort.

We have still not even received an apology. So they ask if I want to leave the car to get it fixed.. That's all I've wanted this whole time is for them to fix my car correctly!!!!ight. I told him it was ridiculous that none of my tires had air in them.

The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

User's recommendation: Do not go to this Kia Service department.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
