I bought a 3 pkg. Johnson & Johnson Ultraheal Multi-Day Pads for my husbands post-surgical stab wound drainage.

It did not even begin to handle the drainage for even 1/2 hour much less the advertised "up to 4 days." The cost of the pkg. is expensive ($14.83) and I had to go back to using 3X3s, and ABDs. Don't advertise what you can't produce!

I wouldn't want anyone to use these pads esp.

if it's post-surgical or harder to manage wound drainages. I was very disappointed in this product and the false package advertisement.

I use them all the time and they are great but not for such a major wound

I never had such issues. These pads worked MIRACLES for my arm wound.

Granted I've never been stabbed but my wound was nearly 2 inches deep, 3 inches wide and 6 inches tall or long. I am DEVASTATED that it has been discontinued...

Ever since, I have a new wound elsewhere for 2 years now that just won't heal. Thanks for discontinuing the only product that ever helped me.

Nonsense obviously the Purchaser of these pads was not using them correctly. Or the wound itself was way too massive for this type of dressing advanced as it may be . Unfortunately they have been discontinued and are extremely hard to find I have seen some packages for sale in upwards of $25-$30 a box which honestly I still believe is worth the price because there's nothing else on the market like them

It is a shame these are no longer availble. I am using warfarin and bleed very easyly.

They are expensive but the only thing I found that would handle my wounds. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK.

stab wound? lol perhaps not the correct choice.

I used these pads for an injury to my head where stitching was not possible cause a chunk of skin was missing!

This bandage did it's job by draining the material that would have caused a scab and in turn this scab material would form a scar. I still can't believe how this helped it heal and it never developed a scab nor a scar!

I have vasculitis and get open ulcers on my legs. These are wonderful for that.

Ordinary bandages irritate the sores and make them much worse. These are the only bandages I've found that work. The unna's boots I use when it's real bad are dreadful.

But these bandages are amazing for if I only have a couple sores. They are luxuriously soft and soothing.

The J and J UltraHeal pads are a fantastic product. Perhaps not the right dressing for a new post op draining wound but were incredible for healing up my elderly fathers skin tears and other leg wounds.
