Purchased a dress from JJshouse.com. When it arrived, it was the wrong dress.
I told them this and sent a pic. of the dress and my order # with the confirmation of what the dress should be. They sent me back a note saying I was not "looking" at the dress right and to "tidy it up" myself, meaning to add the sleeves they left off. I kept writing them and they came up with some ridiculous offer after they admitted they had sent the wrong dress but had worked so hard on it:(.
Well, their return policy clearly states that if your receive the wrong item it can be returned at their cost and you will receive the right one or a refund. They expect me to get the dress altered (like I can find more of that material here) , send the dress back at MY COST, or accept a 40% refund. None of these are acceptable and are devious trade practices so I filed a complaint with the FTC.
They need to be looked into. Complaint # 86054568 with the FTC.
