I should have mentioned that I bought the trailer new as well

Original review posted by user Aug 29, 2016

I have a 2015 jayco octane 273 toy hauler that has never hauled anything and only had less than 5000km on it when the whole A frame hitch assembly buckled and welds broke. I have owned many trailers and this is a first that could have resulted in my death as well as others since it happened coming down a 6% grade or more into Valdez Alaska.

I am very unhappy with this especially since I took over a year researching who made the best product for my needs.

They have had the trailer over a month trying to fix the frame as well as all the interior that is twisted from the frame. I do not believe this is acceptable for a one year old trailer and I would suggest to never but a jayco product if you value your life.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $45000.

Preferred solution: i would like to talk with someone before proceeding with my lawyer and see if we can come to an agreement thank you .

Jayco Cons: Worst trailer owning experience.

Location: Cayley, Alberta
