Invisalign - Complaint
Here is what I have gone through; one doctor, gave me one made tray as the started without telling me about the edges. I got this; "Great Fit." They had sharp edges that I was told by an office manager, not a lab expert, to take a nail file and fix it.
I paid a lot of money to have to "fix," them this way, but I did try, but was so apprehensive not to damage them, and then blamed for it, that I reported it back that it didn't work. They told me they just do not have complaints with Invisalign. I learned this is not true in most cases, or Invisalign chose me to send trays with flaws and no one else??? Mine hurt and caused major inflammation.
I let the office know that I see others online with the same problem, not just me, and they have gone to extreme measures by using devices to make aggressive repairs. I sent the links and sent the links to the โyou tubesโ to the staff. I also read that if the trays hurt you then the trays were made too low. The orthodontist decision was to drop me as a patient, and was about to keep my insurance amount; upwards and over $1,000.
I now have to search elsewhere. In the meantime, it takes over 8 weeks to get a refund from the insurance company, as they stated they would refund that money too, but it is a long wait. I just got a message from a dental office for a $1,000 off on Invisalign that after discussing this with the receptionist, it is only for certain patients with maximum costs and/or they cannot have insurance. So unfair, as I have to pay my premiums and that is false advertisement is just wrong.
That is not what the email stated and I said, if you are honoring this discount, then I am interested to call me, but they are not, and after frustrating phone call, I unsubscribed to them permanently.
The office staff could not even get my insurance straight either. It is maddening!
