Intuit - Turbo Taxes cheats customers

6 of 363 Intuit reviews

I did my daughter & SIL's taxes for them just using Turbo Tax on-line.When it comes time to pay they are all over the place.

It cost $34.99 for the Federal prep & $36.99 for the State ($71.98). After I thought about it and went to Staples to buy a disc for me and found that by using H & R Block for $35.99 (5 uses) the State cost me $19.95. So that would have saved them at least $16.00. When we called to see if we could get a refund on the difference they said no because it was already done (duh?) TT also told me that it is cheaper to do them with a disc ....WTH?

Why do these companies play with us?I am super un-happy with TT and hope no one else uses them.
