Idrive is the WORST!!!
I have used several cloud backup services and have been overall pleased with them. Several months ago, I made the mistake of giving IDrive a try.
First of all, the backup process was painfully slow. Much slower than other services, and I never did get to complete a full backup. Their customer service is basically impossible to contact and there is no way to cancel your account unless you contact customer service via phone. They will not cancel your account via online chat.
They just ask you why you want to cancel then they cut and paste a blurb from the website regarding cancellation and auto-renewal.
I would strongly recommend against giving IDrive your credit card info. They are without a doubt, the worst!

I have not given credit card information to this outfit but was enticed to give it a try. Once I saw they intended to suck $10 per month from me I felt trapped in a scam. Wondering whether Iโm going to be obligated to throw money their way in future
