am so disgusted I don't know where to begin. My partner and I had been eyeing a mirror we saw on Houzz back in November.

Their site stated they had 8 mirrors in stock. The next day we came back to purchase it and there were none left. So we decided to wait until after the holidays to look into it again but in the mean time I would go to their site to see if any had come in but the delivery date kept moving. So we figured it was some sort of stalling tactic.

So finally in Feb. (6 days ago) I called Houzz to get an update on when they were actually going to be in stock. The representative told me she would email them to find out when. She called me back a short time later and said they were in stock.

The next day we called and ordered it which was a Tuesday. Wednesday, my partner called me from work and told me the charge had already gone through. Thursday he told me the charge was reversed. So, Friday I called to find out what was going on.

A representative said she would see if the mirror had shipped which was to come via Fed Ex or UPS, which we paid $98 dollars for, after a brief hold she said that they told her the mirror SHOULD be in on Monday and would PROBABLY ship that week IF all goes well. I told her she didn't sound to sure and the process was sounding very iffy and uncertain but I would wait until the end of the following week and if it had not shipped then I would cancel because I didn't want to get caught up in BS. Later that same day, Friday, out of the blue I got a call from a guy saying he would deliver my mirror the next day, Saturday, by 12 noon! I was confused so I said how is that so?

He said we have it in stock! My head was spinning...Who are you? Where did the mirror come from? Why is what you are telling me different from what I was told a few hours earlier?

What happened to Fed Ex? The next day at noon he comes to my home and insist I show him ID. I explained my partner purchased it and he was at work. He said "We get a lot of fraud" I felt interrogated and put on the defensive in my own home.

I called my partner at work several times and finally he called me back saying he was busy with a client. I asked him to text me a picture of his ID and he said it was not a good time but he would do so ASAP. finally it comes through and this 'Delivery Guy' leaves my home but not before calling Houzz a joke and saying I could have picked the mirror up locally for free if I had come directly to them (as if I would ever shop at his store at this). That's when I learned Houzz is just a middle man and this guy was not their 'delivery guy'.

Monday, Today, I called Houzz to tell them about how disjointed their business is and about the way I was treated. The representative asked if I was calling about the mirror (I guess she knew my order from caller ID) and I said yes and I would like to speak with a manager. She placed me on hold. She comes back to the phone and tells me the manager is on the phone with the shipper to find out when my mirror will be shipped!!

I told that is not what I was calling about and she interrupts me and says "So do you want to cancel the order?" I said "I have the mirror hanging in my home and it was delivered on Saturday" and she said "How?" Now I am furious, I told her to get me a supervisor now! He got on the line and as I am explaining my experience he is cutting me off as if he doesn't have time to be bothered with my situation telling me Houzz is not happy with the way they (the third party) is not honoring their agreement. Supervisor tells me they are going to handle them unconcerned with me or my bad experience with both them and the other company.

I felt caught in the middle of their bad marriage that had nothing to do with me as a customer. Houzz is an awful company who doesn't listen to their customers, has no idea how to deal with their third party retailers and as of this writing Houzz still hasn't charged us for the mirror that is hanging in our home...I guess they are still waiting for it to be shipped...NEVER AGAIN!

Reason of review: Bad quality.
