Absolute WORST customer service I've ever EVER had from ANY category of retailer...EVER!

Here's a timeline of Parksville, BC (Canada) Hi-Way Power's appalling treatment of me (aka - THE CUSTOMER)- - - -

a) Feb 4/2022 I dropped off my Honda commercial mower for annual servicing (I also purchased this Honda mower from Hi-Way Power in 2011) See attached Feb 4, 2022 work order #10245 Staff advised my mower would be ready in 2 weeks.

b) Called Hi-way Power & Marine 2 weeks after drop off, & was told it would be ready "next week" ...

c) Dropped into the store Feb 22 and was advised there were 8 mower service jobs in front of mine.

d) I phoned the store on Feb 25th, and was then told there were now 2 mowers still before my mower would be serviced.

e) I again dropped into the store Saturday March 5th, thinking surely, my lawn mower would now be finished servicing?

Nope!! ...when I asked "Danny" (mgr) when it would be ready, he snapped and said he didn't know, along with a myriad of excuses ...


..."We'll call you when it's ready!..." then turned around, ignored me, and walked away.

f) So today March 8th, my friend Ms.

Pat Powell and I went to the store around 11:00 a.m. to get a copy of the work order (#10245) for my own reference, and guess what, still nothing done.

g) While in the store, another customer named Bob picked up his now serviced mower....and he had left it with Hi-Way Power only 10 days prior (and he was advised on the weekend, his mower was ready for pickup!)

I was totally stunned, as I had now been waiting over a month...and my mower was still sitting unserviced in back of store.

Therefore, on March 8, 2022 I removed my mower from Hi-Way Power and Marine facilities; and it will NEVER return.

User's recommendation: If you want atrocious customer service, go to Hi-Way Power Parksville, BC.
