Hertz Claim Management - Hertz Belgium Bad Service and Insurance
We rented a car in June 2016 at Belgium airport for a business trip. Some robbers broke into our car and stole our backpacks with laptops, earphones, ipads, etc.
About 4,000 $ of electronics overall. We paid extras for the super coverage which was also covering the stolen goods. I called Hertz 6 times to get the email address to send my information(police report, invoices, purchase receipts, etc). Each time they gave me a different email address.
3 months went by and we still haven't got any confirmation or reply back from the insurance event though we told them to let us know if they received our things. I reached back out to Hertz Belgium who was very rude and told me they can't do anything and that there is no way to reach the insurers and that it is not their problem. I'm basically stuck with a bunch of email addresses that don't even work and no one from Hertz can help me.
We rent many cars for work and this is the worst service we ever got.
Even though Hertz can be cheaper, I seriously recommend that you use another rental company that will give you a good service. Hertz are a bunch of idiots and we will never deal with them again.
Reason of review: many of the above.
