Bought & paid for a Jitterbug 2 for my dad whose 89 from BestBuy. BestBuy will not help to set up the service or transfer any data to new phone from old phone!
Turn on, port his phone over to new "Jitterbug2", & pay for all services required from GreatCall. Also set up monthly service, try to get phone to set up but, its either tower service problems or they are experiencing high call volumes or they just don't care about your problems? ? ?
They reset the phone, turn it off for 15 minutes, & then turn it back on.
Phone says its Finishing Set-up, then System Failure Codes 7 or 8 the 5, after several attempts to reset this stupid phone & to call customer after all this. Do this for several days, a weekend of keeping the phone off, calling on Monday but, they are still having problems with their service; as I've been told?
Nobody knows & they are not telling whats going on with their service.
Getting ready to cancel the service that I can't get activated & to be able to talk on the stupid phone yet!
