Seeking $1,500 for extermination fee and not $800 originally indicated.

Original review posted by user Nov 30, 2016

My family purchased what was supposed to be new mattresses from Grand Furniture in Hampton, VA. Shortly afterwards, my son was bitten numerous times.

Discovered the mattresses were riddled with bedbugs. Asked Grand to pay for extermination versus canceling my account and returning the mattresses. They refused. Exterminator found it odd that the bedbugs were concentrated in the mattresses and did not spread to the closet or clothes drawers as an infestation would.

Further proof that the mattresses were no good. Grand Furniture refuses to take responsibility. My family is out of $1,500 for the extermination not to mention the mental and physical stress of tearing apart our house and trying to put it back together.

On top of the above, I purchased a 10 year full plan warranty from Grand Furniture for the mattresses fo $90. This should account for something!

Reason of review: Bedbugs in new mattresses we purchased. .

Monetary Loss: $800.

Preferred solution: Pay extermination fees of $1,500.

Grand Furniture Cons: Grand brushing off my claim not taking responsibility.

Location: 2318 W Mercury Blvd, Hampton, VA 23666, USA

Grand Furniture still not owning up to their delivering bedbug infested mattresses to me that were supposedly new. They're denying everything. I want reimbursement for extermination fees.
