DGood Neighbor Vet mobile clinic. Since I had such wonderful service with the feed and grain store that hosted this event, I decided to take my dog to the GOOD NEIGHBOR MOBILE VET CLINIC on August 14th 2021 in Longview at three pm.

I showed up with my husband and a 17-year-old long haired breed with an ear infection. The temperature outside was 86 degrees. I and several others had stood in line on pavement for over an hour (I am elderly with active cancer and my husband had just got out of heart surgery). The heat even at 86 degrees can cause both of us to get very ill.

My dog stayed in the car with the air conditioner on. When the person from the vet clinic approached the line of waiting customer, she had no mask on and started to speak with the customers in line, she demonstrated anger, and frustration with the people she spoke to. When she got to me she stood close enough I could feel the air coming out of her mouth, then with a very angry tone and posture asked: WHAT IS YOUR NAME, I said: Dasher, she looked at me and stated angerly almost at a yell: THATS YOUR NAME? When I tried to respond she rolled her eyes, shook her head and walked off in the middle of my response.

I became concerned but thought maybe she is just having a bad day. Unfortunately, this woman was rude and very abrupt to the people in front of me and very abrupt and cruel to the elderly person behind me who had gone to sit in her car with her with her dog that could not walk. When this (elderly) woman approached the vet assistant from GOOD NEIGHBOR VET, the representative was not only rude to that person but also cruel and yelled at this woman to JUST GET IN LINE when she was in line.

There are two problems with this:

1.Cats and Dogs can contract Covid and this is supposed to be a veterinary clinic without any professional courteous Covid protections. Even if she is vaccinated, she can still transmit the illness.

2.If a professional cannot behave in a manner with minimum curtesy to people, how is she going to treat my dog or the other peoples animals who attended this event?

There is a direct correlation between those who abuse animals also abuse people, so therefore would not the reverse be true. The mobile clinic isnt a discount vet service; you pay what you would pay at any veterinary clinic. I expect the same professional curtesy that I would get with any professional service that I pay for. I refuse to be treated as though I am a beggar expecting services for free.

I told this woman that if she cannot treat people with curtesy then how is she going to treat my dog?

I, my dog and husband left. I will never go to a mobile clinic again.

User's recommendation: Don't bother go to a local vet.
