In June of 2012 I placed an order with GlassesUSA.com for a set of progressive lensed glasses, and took advantage of their two for one advertising special. Lets just say that was the end of the positive buying experience.

After following thier very short time framed and loophole filled return policy (per their return policy, at best expect to receive only half of your original purchase price), I was finally given a Return Merchandise Authorization number and sent my eyeglasses order back to GlassesUSA.com. I received a delivery confirmation from UPS but still have not been contacted regarding the return from GlassesUSA.com. I ordered these glasses June 9 2012, waited over 2 weeks to get them and when they showed up, one pair had a lens that popped out of the frame and both pairs of glasses had progressive lenses that were incorrectly made.

To make a long story short, I sent the glasses back, they kept all of my money, and they won't even give me the simple courtesy of a reply to acknowledge they received them. Subsequent emails to them have also been ignored.

Be very wary if you decide to do business with this company. You may get your order completed without a problem, but if there is a need to return the item, you will be at the mercy of a very complicated and ineffective system. They will stall for time, especially if it close to the end of the month. And what can you do if a company refuses to respond to you?

I returned my progressive glasses as well, 428.00 RayBans, in Jan 2016, and when I didn't receive my money back, I called and was told without the tracking number, there was nothing I could do. Of course, this is the only tracking number I can not find.

I can't tell where the return went to, unless it's the NY NY address so it will be hard to ask the USPS to search for my tracking number, which they can do if you have address, amount of shipping cost, date/time you were in the post office and how much it weighed. Well, ***, if I don't have the receipt, how will I know that.

all i can say is DO NOT BUY PRESCRIPTION EYE GLASSES FROM WEBSITE especially from Eyeglasses USA. they are not accurate with your prescription coz i really regretted why I order my eyeglasses from this Eyeglasses USA.com.

I return my glasses due to blurry and when I receive the item again after the they fixed it, still not good and I can not use it because it became worst. And they are not refunding my money until now.

Frames on progressives broke after 8 months. A co-worker brazed frame (an almost lost skill) to fix.

3 months later other side broke. GlassesUSA offered $80 credit which, w/ their discounts, would cover a new distance only pair. Because my prescription changed, I ordered new progressives in different frame and distance-only driving sunglasses in original aviator frame on sale, figuring can pop out and install old progressives if/when new frames break. 3 wks later, no glasses.

Maybe I'll get what I paid for.

Until them I have $5 reading glasses. Buy w/ credit card to double warranty and let them battle GlassesUSA.

Glassesusa is a SCAM!!! Beware they do not answer their phone and do not refund you all your money even when they promise they will.

Stay away - cheap products - horrible service!
