same issues. Experienced plumber can only tighten it to 80% nut then just spins.

Original review posted by user May 15

Our plumber of 40 years installed, but because the stem is not threaded, the unit at the base where it meets our granite countertop constantly is loose. How can it stay secure without a threaded stem and nut to secure tightly???

We are now stuck with this and our plumber says he deals with this issue all the time. Home Depot should not sell. Just a simple threaded stem would solve this issue.

Very dissatisfied with this. Even the last one we had was a generic free one from the granite installers was secured tightly.
