Lisa from Gate1 did a great job coordinating our classical Portugal/Spain tour.
Of course such a bus tour with 37 "strangers" needs a bit of luck to succeed.
Should the participants not be on time or enjoy criticizing, the enjoyment factor sinks.
But our group was always on time and critical comments were few and far between.
And it helped that the weather was ideal.
The local guides for all the cities and museums were well chosen.
For the trip to Morocco we left at 06:00 for the two hour bus ride to the harbor.
Alas the Jet Ferry was defect. On short notice we detoured to Ronda, well worth a visit.
We were right in arriving one day early in Lisbon and staying two extra days in Madrid.
There are only two longer bus rides; from Lisbon to Seville and from Granada to Madrid (with a longer stop in Toledo). The bus drivers deserve a special thanks.
We did not know what to expect in Gibraltar, but the tour there was not as interesting or exciting as all the other sites.
In Lisbon we privately organized an evening at Clube de Fado, a great tip from our guide.
Otherwise the highlights are too numerous to relate.
Reason of review: Good customer service.
I liked: Organisation, Guides, Hotels.
I didn't like: Tip for main guide not included in tour package.
