Gallagher Bassett - They suck
Fractured left shoulder in march 2016 in two places. Was made to go back to work with restrictions that only lasted 4 days.
In Aug 2016 after therapy was not working, had surgery due to other findings. Had me scheduled to go back to work the day of surgery. I could not even function. Was finally taken off work for 4 wks.
Did receive pay and med. coverage. Trouble is no matter what the Dr. says, I will never be able to lift/ I am a nurse, the 25 lb limit.
WC says they do not tell the Dr. what to do, but, before I went to surgery, I asked the dr. how long I would be off and he told me for at least 2+ wks. After WC got wind of this, they sent me back to work the day of, of which I did not go.
The big problem is, the st. of IN says you cannot sue your employer for pain/suffering. The state is standing in the way of justice here. As long as WC dictates what the Dr.
is to say, I will never get anywhere, and will probably be fired because I cannot meet the requirements of nursing. I'm just waiting for the hammer to fall. I am 61 yrs.
old. I do not heal like I use to.
Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.

My experience has been similar with this company.. I'm am currently in litigation for settlement..
which is a joke.... this company has fraud written A-LL over it. From. The adjuster to the Doctors they send you too..
I am considering a class action lawsuit at this time.. from the many reviews of similar behavior on this company part.
I think I have Federal case... Just need to find the right attorney/attorneys....
