Due to a souvenir I had purchased, I was required to check my bag which was no big deal. However, when I got home, the souvenir was stolen out of my bag.

I filed a claim the next day and so far I have received nothing. No follow-up of any kind from Frontier. The phone number I was given is constantly busy. When I called a different phone number, the person said they would walk my message over to the claims people.

That was two days ago.

I still haven't heard back from them.

Due to the value, I filed a Theft Report with the Philadelphia Police Dept. I haven't heard from them either.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Check with tsa.Im guessing they removed it from your bag not the airline itself.If it was something you could not carry on the plane it may have been something that was prohibited from your checked bag.Airline employees have a general knowledge of whats allowed in carry on or checked bags but may not know of every prohibited item.Thats the job of the tsa.

That was the first thing I did. TSA said they did not go through my bag.

The item I purchased is allowed to be checked; just not carried on.

After 3 months of calling I finally got through to someone at Frontier and was told they only cover clothing and toiletries. Anything else brought on a plane is not covered.
