You are an *** to post such lies online. Freightquote is a broker and doesn't ever touch your freight, so they DID NOT damage it, and they are not responsible for paying you when it is damaged.

Would you also be so *** as blame Travelocity or Orbitz if Delta Airlines lost your luggage?

However, they DO help you with the claim against the carrier who damaged your freight, but only up to the amount of that carrier's liability amount, which it seems was $.50/lb.

If you booked this online yourself, the liability statement would have told you that. If the rep booked it for you, then they were supposed to tell you.
