We had a 2013 Denali 287 for 3 years. Traded it in on a smaller 2017 Denali Lite.

When the dealer inspected the 2013 they found two leaks in the roof that cost us $3000.00 to have them fixed. No one told us that the dealer needs to inspected the roof every 6 months to make sure there is no leaks. You would think that a roof would last longer then 3 years. We bought a $400.00 cover to keep it dry in the winter but the roof still got leaks.

I think when they made the trailer they did a *** job installing the roof.

Warranties do not cover the roof. So your screwed anyway.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $3000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Dutchmen Cons: Having to pay 3000 dollars for a defective roof.

Location: Hood River, Oregon

Dutchmen comes with a 10 or 12 year warranty. When ever we took ours to camp and found a small water leak in roof i took it to the dealer and they asked if i had been keeping up with the roof.

I told them yes and they contacted dutchmen for the warranty and everything was fixed through warranty.

Cost was about 2500. Didnt pay a dollar.
