Around 11am today the car was sent to Meineki for an engine inspection and they found the cause of the problem. A wrench was left in the engine compartment that cause the noise and must have cause the vibration of the vehicle.
It appears that the it didn't do damage on the motor nor the fan but was advised to keep an eye for any noise. Also Mr. Jacob whom who was very patient and been monitoring the progress of my claim had been very instrumental in resolving the issue. Drivetime thru Mr.
Jacob offered to pay the diagnostic fee and cover the payment for the brakepads.
The issue had been fix and the notice in the car has been removed. Thank you.

Just this morning I made a payment of $51.00 to make the account current. Guess what they still won’t allow it because it needs to be posted first..
another BS this company is trying to trick everyone.
I’ll wait when this is posted and see what happens again. Please avoid doing business with this company it’s not worth the stress.
Original review Feb 05, 2018
It all started way back May 13, 2017 when I signed the contract for an h3 hummer. I am fully aware that it’s a pre owned vehicle and had been briefed accordingly.
As claim by the company “160 point inspection”. When we did the pre inspection I already notice the rust underneath the vehicle and ask the salesman. They told me it’s part of the normal wea and tear and doesn’t affect the performance of the vehicle. It took me about close to two months when finally the sunroof leaked that the problem is far more worst than what it thought.
The rust overwhelmed and when meineki filed to SR they outrightly denied the claim due to the fact it doesn’t pose safety of the vehicle. It was a back and forth thing until finally Drivetime offered to replace the vehicle. I ask that time from them to give me time and finally I agreed to exchange the vehicle despite the fact that after paying about two months of payment by redoing another loan would mean I have to say goodbye on my $800 and start all over again. I opted to replace the hummer with a 2014 FORD escape.
August 13, 2017 we did a road test and finally sign a new contract. I am not a car expert nor a mechanic so I trust the judgement and assurance from the staff. They disclose that there was a recall on the vehicle and all I have to do is to bring it to FORD. It took about 1 month before FORD can put me in the schedule and finally about September FORD diagnose the vehicle and found the battery needs to be replace as it is bad.
That Saturday I immediately brought the vehicle to blackstire along with the inspection report but to my surprise there battery reader had a different result. I was told by the mechanic that it will take about a drop in the temperature before the battery completely fails and should it happen bring the vehicle back in blackstire. From September to December I have experience some errors in the vehicle like transmission in park and passenger door open and all I thought a mere turn off of the vehicle and back on will do the trick. After I got back from vacation in Orlando the battery is all dead.
I have to call AAA to start up the vehicle and reported the problem to SR and Drivetime and surprise the battery isn’t covered on more. I argued back and forth until finally they made an offer to fix the battery. I accepted the offer subject to the vehicle will be inspected by FORD. I brought the vehicle to Ford and they fix the recall and they inform me that the rear brake pads needs to be replaced and I have to prepare some money for the tires.
And again as this notorious company does brake pads like battery aren’t covered. Along with the arrangement was to make sure the account will be current. I have $481balance on the payment I paid a total of $400.00. This morning February 5, 2018, I call customer relations and ask the agent if they could aapprove the repairs and the $81 will be added the next bill.
The agent didn’t categorically answer a yes or no instead transferred me to bridgecrest and here I am a damn fool made an arrangement thinking it’s all set but surprise: I was transferred back to customer relations and only to be informed that the $81 needs to be cleared. From the very start of the call I told the agent “I have $81 with me but I have to replace the brake pads”. The problem with this company is so shady and some kinda hypocrites. AGAIN this happen not just once but twice.
I finally come to terms I will not stress myself with this company instead I will pay the dues and I’ll make sure that when I’m driving this vehicle a sign in my window will say “Drivetime sucks. Buy & Beware. Do not do business with them or suffer the same fate”. I have put a complaint with BBB and waiting.
But for the time being I want everyone to know and hope learn from my experience.
I am just lucky I have two other vehicles that I can use and felt so obligated to share this experience especially to those who aren’t fortunate like me. AGAIN DO NOT ENGAGE BUSINESS WITH THIS DRIVETIME.
This will be the last post I make. I opened my mailbox today and was pleasantly surprised to find a check from Drive Time for the amount of the repairs. They have made me a happy customer again.
Thanks to Matthew for leaving me the message that helped resolve the issue.
After reading the request from Matthew I did as he suggested. I contacted them and spoke to a rep named Will.
He hemmed and hawed for a while about the issue and finally asked me to fax him the receipt for the wheel bearing repairs ($315.00). I did as he asked within 10 minutes of our conversation on 8/7/2012.
He stated that he would contact me in a couple days. Well, it's been over a week and no response.
I'll keep you posted.
I haven't checked this post in a while, so I just saw the DT post. I will be contacting them today and I will let you know what happens.

Wow this explains 1. Easy approval.
2. Low down payment 3. 3 year warranty on ALL vehicles. I have not purchased a DT vehicle but test drove a 2006 Saturn Vue today.
I found the prices are VERY over inflated. The 06 Vue retails for $8,900 DT PRICE $15,900 WITH 96K MILES??? Looking at their website ALL vehicles have HIGH mileage and inflated prices $5-10k over blue book RETAIL. Worse than that INTERSET rate 15-25%.
Reading these complaints have really helped in my decision to not buy from DT. Is this just DT or the NEW way of doing \"American\" Business (Escalated profits, Inflated prices, and terrible customer service ?) Ive found these same types of predatory loan companies in many of the major purchase area items in this country. Home loans, appliance loans, furniture loans, payday loans. They claim to "assist" credit challenged people but in the end take advantage.
Sell you something and then forget about you. Capitalism?
I am going to have call BS on this story. If you bought 4 cars from drivetime then your credit would been good to go to another dealership. You must be dumb.
