We built a home in Ohio with Drees in the Spring of 2018. We have been living in the home for one year and there are no major issues.
The home is beautiful. However, several smaller scale items need to be addressed and repaired, as they would with any home with any builder. The process to do so is extremely frustrating with Drees. The warranty managers are incompetent and need to be pestered several times before they will even provide a response.
The response is typically vague. At our one month check up, we eventually just let several things slide as the employees promised to fix things never showed up, or showed up several hours late (if they even provided a time frame at all!). Additionally, they had us move into our home when it was not up to fire code due to the fact that they incorrectly built the firebox/hearth area - something they made US fix on our own!!
While the home is beautiful, I would never again build with his company based off my experience with their warranty checks/repairs. They overpromise and vastly underdeliver in terms of warranty, in my opinion.
