Cheap paint that you'll need to replace. Cheap engineered flooring that chips and splits easily.
Poor grades that allow water damage. Walls without proper insulation. Cookie cutter homes.
Be very careful about the neighborhoods that are entirely or partially built by Drees. These homes are built to separate you from your money, not to last.
Some of these neighborhoods will be ghettos as people (over the long term) won't be able to keep up with redoing all of what wasn't done properly to begin with.
The warranties sound impressive until you start reading the exceptions and there are many. For example, your yard could have 2 feet of water for 24 hours and that meets their standards.
It's only when the water remains for 48 hours that they have to do something. Really think what their warranties mean...
