Think twice before you buy a home from Drees. From Mortgage to after when you are in your new home, all you get is ton of issues.
You will spend countless hours trying for the contractors to show up to fix your issues. Warranty is horrible as they only believe in selling, selling and more selling. Try calling their home office and all you get is more promises. So, in short, we had mortgage issue which cost us dearly, but then someone decided to sort out that issue.
That was after the sales team from Drees woke up, so that issue was resolved. Craftsman ship is horrible to say the least. Cheap contractors are hired that will have nicks and cracks all over your house. Once you complaint, Drees might fix 3 out of 10 issues, once again because they are busy selling and they don't have time for you.
You have to be constantly on the phone, they will promise a bunch of things to you and then they will never show up. Oh, you think you can provide some feedback and express your disappointment, forget it, they don't care. I have been battling with them for over 6 months now and mind you we are not talking about a cheap home, we are talking about a home worth $550K.
So, beware and you might look into going thru another builder or perhaps just buy an old home. Drees, certainly not worth it!
