I have been a member with this company for over 2 years now and their practices have gotten worst every month. I have been charged for returned products and never received my promised refund.

I returned movies and even sum the customer service agents stated that "oh it was sitting in shipping on such and such desk. it's been there over a month". Now in June I was sick and had to leave my home for a while and when I returned even with me responding no to the monthly movie releases they still sent movies. When me and my son got home we had like 3 movies sent in one month.

When I called I was told May, June and July was sent out. I told the agent I hit the do not send on the website. Her reply was that the system must have glitched. I told her well they needed to be on the look out for the movies.

I sent them back July 3rd day I walked into my home and saw them the same day my son took them to the post office. I know he took them because I was on the phone with him the whole time and heard the mailman say he was just in time for the out truck they were scanned and put on the truck. A few day's later I started receiving bills for these movies total was $58. Now if this is a monthly service how is 1 movie $58?

I was charged for 2 movies at once then another bill came the next day for the 3rd movie. I called in and July 23 and was told dont worry about it once the movies get processed in returns I wouldn't get another bill. On November the 10th after a few months of no bills I received yet another $58 bill. I called again and was told something similar about the glitch and that once the movies arrive I would be credited.

I told him that they should've already received the movies back in July I dont live in a far away country. That has been well over 4 months and the last time this happened I had problems getting my refund and the only thing they could offer was a $20 credit on my account. Oh and that was why I took my credit card information off of their website they kept charging my card. Then if you ask is anything noted in the system it never is.

I can and have sent them emails with phone records showing dates I called. For what a waste of my time you get nowhere with them. Before ending the call the rep told me that my account was still active and that my membership amount of movies was almost completed. I told him that before Christmas I would complete it by getting the movies I want to get and then probably close my account.

He said okay that sounds fair for all the problems that you have had and he said he was noting my account with that information. Since that call I received 1 more bill as he said that I would it was still for $58. But today I received a bill from a collection agency stating I owe $139.60 to guess who??? Disney Movie Club.

Disney is supposed to be a business geared towards family with honest and fair values. I don't think their values are to fair or honest right now.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Monetary Loss: $130.

Preferred solution: This bill to be removed from the collection agency. Also, if my time limit on getting movies has expired. An extension and opportunity to pick out the movies I want at a time that is convenient for me money wise. .

Disney Movie Club Pros: Online shopping.

Disney Movie Club Cons: Overpriced, Website was a little hard to use, Feature titles, How they handled the complaint, Sends unasked for products.

Also if someone sends you mail through usps by their mistake you do not have to return it. It is considered a gift.

Also. Take screen shots of rejecting the movies.
