I booked a rental car through them with Europcar and Europcar wanted more money. I refused.

I tried to contact discovercars but had problems online and could not contact. So far my claim has not been addressed, 2 days now!

Having no option to contact directly by telephone or E-mail needs addressing. I had not got any details of my booking available.

When I used chat, the chat bot could only send me to a link requiring details I did not have to proceed.

No option to chat with a person. However, when contact was made by other means, their response was immediate and the matter resolved

Discovers Cars has been unresponsive regarding my insurance claim, as has their apparent partner, Rentscape. The thid party, a rental agency in Pusignan, France near the Lyon airport, does not respond to any phone calls or emails either.

This means that I cannot obtain the documents Discover Cars wants, in turn preventing payment of my claim for about $2,000 USD.

That's a lot of money that it doesn't seem I will be getting back, even though I purchased insurance. Is this a scam?

As a senior I'm not tech savvy, so I'm prone to making mistakes when making online reservations. Fortunately, the call center was able to solve my problem quite easily and to my complete satisfaction. Keep up the good work.

Very disappointed that they didn’t highlight/ emphasize the need for an international driver’s license to rent the vehicle through their supplier (Target Rent). This not only cost us our deposit, but it doubled the cost of our new rental through our last minute supplier.
